How much do you charge?

Our rates vary according to the date, times, duration and location of your function. We don’t operate a fixed fee or an hourly rate, as almost every function is different. When booking with us you have the peace of mind of receiving a high quality professional entertainer whether it is a DJ, Magician or Stilt Walker.

 

What equipment will the DJ bring and what will it look like?

Each event is different from the number of guests to the size of the venue. We will accommodate all of this into consideration to ensure you receive exactly what you require. We provide all our DJ’s with the latest sound systems & lighting effects and back catalogue of music, which enables us to deliver the highest standards for every booking.

 

What kind of DJ lighting do you use?

We have a selection of lighting effects to create a party atmosphere at your venue. A smoke machine used correctly will dramatically enhance the lighting effect on the dancefloor, and help encourage your guests to dance.  We provide this at no extra charge but please check in advance that your venue allows the use of a smoke machine.

 

How long does it take to set up, and how much space do you require?

For most events we will allow just over one hour for a DJ to set up, this is at no extra charge. Please consider you may wish the DJ equipment and lighting set up prior to dinner, depending on your requirements this may involve an additional charge. For other performers such as Stilt Walkers and Magicians, all performers will be at the venue at least 30mins prior to the performance start time to speak to the client and find out exactly what your requirements are.

 

Dress Code?

All our DJ’s have the same dress code of smart shirt and trousers. Strictly no jeans t-shirts or trainers. Other entertainers will wear suitable smart clothing for their performance.

 

 Health & Safety?

Equipment is Portable Appliance (PAT) tested annually in accordance with the Health & Safety Executive, Electricity at Work Act 1989. For the safety of everyone no one is allowed on the stage area or near the equipment. All requests must be handled off the stage or away from the equipment.

 

How do I pay?

Payment either the full amount or deposit will be accepted to confirm the booking. This may be done by cheque, BACS or PayPal. The full balance must be paid by any of the above means 28 days prior to the function.

 

What music will your DJ play?

The genre of music played at the event is held up to the discretion of the booker.  The DJ will accept requests and announcements throughout the event. We cannot be held responsible to play any specific tracks or artists at the event, but we will try to accommodate your music tastes as best as possible. We will liaise with you to confirm what music you require for the event. We advise an email with likes and dislikes of music to be played on the night of the event to be sent a minimum of 28 days before the event date, to the following: info@mojoentertainment.co.uk

 

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations made for any booking within and including 4 weeks will be charged at 50%, any cancellations within 2 weeks will be charged at 100%.
